How can we help?

Shipping and delivery

7 questions
Where do you ship?

Across Europe, and to the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada.

Enter your address at checkout to see the delivery options and cost for your country.

When will my order be sent?

Orders are processed within one to three business days. We do not process or dispatch on weekends or public holidays.

During busy periods this can take a little longer, and we will tell you if it does rather than leave you guessing.

How long does delivery take?

Once your parcel has left us, standard delivery takes two to four business days within the United States and five to ten business days within the EU.

Those windows are on top of the one to three business days of processing, so allow for both when you are ordering for a particular date.

What does shipping cost?

It depends on where you are and which delivery method you choose. The exact cost is shown at checkout before you pay, so nothing is added afterwards.

Standard shipping to the United States and the EU is free above our order threshold. Free shipping applies to standard delivery only, not to express or priority options.

Can I track my order?

Yes. As soon as your order ships you will get a confirmation email with a tracking number, and you can follow the parcel from there.

If that email has not arrived within a few days of ordering, check your spam folder first, then get in touch.

Will I pay customs or import duty?

Not within the European Union. Orders inside the EU carry no additional customs duties.

Orders to the United States or anywhere outside the EU may be subject to import taxes or duties set by your own country. Those are charged by your customs authority rather than by us, and they are the recipient's responsibility.

My order has not arrived, or arrived damaged.

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective or simply not what you ordered, contact us straight away and we will put it right.

For a parcel that has gone missing, get in touch within fourteen days of the date it was expected.

Returns and refunds

4 questions
Can I return something?

You have thirty days from receiving your order to request a return. If your order is delivered within the European Union you also have the statutory right to cancel within fourteen days of receiving it, for any reason and without giving one.

Items need to be unused and in their original packaging, and you will need your proof of purchase. Contact us to start a return before sending anything back, because parcels that arrive without an agreed return cannot be accepted.

Are opened skincare products returnable?

For hygiene reasons, cosmetics that have been opened or used cannot usually be returned once their seal is broken. Unopened items in their original packaging are fine within the windows above.

If a product has caused a reaction, or arrived faulty, that is a different matter entirely. Contact us and we will deal with it directly.

How long does a refund take?

We will let you know as soon as your return reaches us and has been inspected, and tell you whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank or card provider then needs a little time to post it, which is usually where the wait comes from.

Can I exchange something instead?

The quickest route is to return the item you have and place a new order for the one you want, rather than waiting for an exchange to be processed in sequence.

Formulas and ingredients

11 questions
Where can I see the full ingredient list?

On the product page itself. Every formula publishes its complete INCI list, in the order the ingredients appear in the bottle, not a selected handful of the appealing ones.

Ingredients grown to organic farming standards, components derived from natural essential oils, and pure mineral pigments are each marked in those lists so you can tell them apart.

Are your products fragrance free?

Not as a rule, and we would rather say so plainly than let the word clean imply it. Our formulas are generally scented with natural essential oils.

The individual components of those oils that EU law requires us to declare, such as limonene, linalool, citral and benzyl salicylate, are named separately in each ingredient list. If you react to essential oils, read the list before you buy or write to us first.

Will they suit sensitive skin?

Many of our formulas are dermatologically tested and built with calming botanicals, but sensitive skin is specific to the person, so every product page notes who a formula is for.

Patch test on a small area first, and if you have a diagnosed skin condition or you are under a dermatologist's care, check with them before adding anything new.

In what order should I apply my routine?

As a rule, work from the lightest texture to the richest: cleanse, then any treatments or serums, then moisturiser, with sun protection last in the morning.

Every product page lists exactly how and when to use that particular formula, so you are never left guessing where it fits.

How should I use sun protection?

Apply it generously as the final step of your morning routine, before any makeup. Reapply every two hours in the sun, and after swimming, sweating or towel drying.

No sun protection blocks everything, so avoid prolonged exposure even while wearing it.

Do mineral formulas leave a white cast?

A well-made one should not. Mineral filters such as zinc oxide can leave a pale film when a formula is poorly balanced; ours are formulated to blend into the skin for a sheer, natural finish.

Do you test on animals?

No. Testing cosmetics on animals, and selling cosmetics that have been tested on animals, has been prohibited throughout the European Union since 2013.

This is a legal requirement our formulas are made under rather than a claim we are asking you to take on faith.

Are your products vegan?

We publish every ingredient list in full so you can check any single ingredient for yourself. If you need a definitive answer on a particular formula, write to us and we will give you a straight answer rather than a marketing one.

Where are your products made?

In the European Union, under EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009. That regulation requires a qualified safety assessment for every formula before it can legally be sold.

Can I use these while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We are not able to give medical advice, and what is appropriate during pregnancy depends on your own circumstances.

Our full ingredient lists are on every product page. Take them to your doctor or midwife and they can tell you what is suitable for you.

How should I store them, and how long do they keep?

Keep them closed, out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Bathroom windowsills are the usual culprit.

The period after opening is printed on the packaging as a small open-jar symbol with a number of months inside it. That is the figure to go by once you have broken the seal.

The range

3 questions
How do I choose what is right for me?

Every product page sets out what a formula does, who it suits and how to use it. If you are still unsure, tell us about your skin and what you are after and we will point you to the right place.

We would rather you bought the right thing once than a shelf of things you never finish.

Are you releasing new products?

Yes. The range is growing. We add a formula only once it genuinely earns a place, so new arrivals are deliberate rather than constant.

The best way to hear first is to keep an eye on the shop, where the full collection is always up to date.

Can I see everything you make?

The full collection lives on the shop page, and it stays current as the range expands. Whatever is available to buy is there.
