Everything earns its place.

What we hold to

considered, not endless

A growing collection, but never a cluttered one. Nothing joins the range to fill a gap on a chart; it joins because it does something genuinely worth doing.

nothing hidden

Every formula publishes its complete ingredient list, in the order it appears on the bottle, on its own product page. Not a highlight reel of the flattering ones.

substance over noise

No trend-chasing and no filler. If a formula cannot justify itself on what it does for your skin, it does not make it onto the shelf.

What we build on

The ten that come up most often across the range, counted from the full lists on the product pages. Every formula still publishes its own, in order, on its own page.

  • Hyaluronic acid

Used at several molecular weights so it holds water at more than one depth. Skin reads plump rather than tight.

  • Peptides

Hexapeptide-11 and pea peptide. Short chains of amino acids that hydrate and condition through a full day of wear.

  • Glycerin

A humectant that pulls water into the skin. It appears in more of our formulas than any other ingredient, for good reason.

  • Mineral pigments

Iron oxides and titanium dioxide. Colour and UV cover ground from minerals, never synthetic dyes.

  • Aloe leaf juice

A hydrating base that already does a job, where most formulas begin with plain water.

  • Citrus peel oils

Bergamot, lemon and bitter orange, pressed from the peel. Our scent, declared down to the last allergen.

  • Jojoba seed oil

Organically farmed, and close enough in structure to skin's own sebum that it absorbs without sitting on top.

  • Vitamin C

Ascorbyl palmitate, the oil-stable form. Brightens over time and helps defend skin against daily environmental stress.

  • Sodium PCA

Part of what skin already uses to hold its own water. Put back into the formulas that could otherwise strip it.

  • Caprylic/capric triglyceride

A light coconut-derived emollient. It carries the actives and leaves no film behind.

How it is made

The parts of this that are verifiable, stated plainly.

Made in the EU

Our formulas are produced in the European Union and comply with EU Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009, which requires a qualified safety assessment for every formula before it can be sold.

Never tested on animals

Animal testing for cosmetics, and the sale of cosmetics tested on animals, has been prohibited across the European Union since 2013. This is law rather than a promise we are asking you to take on trust.

Organic where it counts

Ingredients grown to organic farming standards are marked directly in our ingredient lists, so you can see exactly which ones they are instead of reading a percentage on the front of a box.

Fragrance, declared

Where a formula is scented, it is generally with natural essential oils rather than being fragrance free. The components of those oils that EU law requires us to name, such as limonene and linalool, appear individually in every ingredient list.
